Vincent Joseph Adolph Jr., also known as šišiyúš a Spokane Indian name that was given to me by my grandmother Sadie Boyd and means Smart and also powerful.

- I am of flathead, Coeur d'Alene, Spokane, lakes, Colville, Wenatchee bands of indigenous ancestry, I was born in Spokane Washington, I have held many titles of the nefarious and ordinary type. I am single father I have 5 sons and 1 daughter I love my nephews and nieces. I use to coach basketball on the national level, humbled I found a new beginning with my father's people learning the language and customs traditions and lineage, I began working towards a level of life that supported healthy living and was blessed with the Colville tribe supporting my efforts to become educated and helpful a service to self to become someone who can help others, and be resilient throughout. I am a Moses Columbia language apprentice one of the 4 language families that exist within the Confederated tribes of the Colville Reservation.

- I am working on a two-year transfer with WVC and plan to transfer to Washington State University and work toward a degree in Anthropology, and a minor in linguistics. I Am working toward promoting the way in which we learn the language, I feel that technology is useful and can be very helpful. Initially I set out to create a dictionary using the Moses-Columbia dialect one that had audio and video clips embedded into the root entries that did not redirect you to another site or window once you clicked on the entry to hear the audio or video. Now my goal is to have web content and possibly discuss the trauma and not just the trauma of learning but also the small victories and the growth that occurs in learning the proper words for the natural world around us.... regardless I just want to find a way to help myself and others learn out indigenous languages.
